NFT.NYC 2022 — An unforgettable experience for bitsCrunch
It’s officially crypto winter, and not just because 3AC, Celsius, and a few others are down (pun unapologetically intended). But that doesn’t mean the NFT.NYC Conference wasn’t a warm relief for Vijay Pravin, the co-founder, and CEO of bitsCrunch, who attended the event with our global head of growth Kevin Conabree.
The NFT.NYC Conference, undoubtedly the largest NFT event of 2022 yet, was welcoming the chaos, to say the least. After all, more than 15,000 NFT artists, collectors, and enthusiasts attended the annual convention that spanned across three days. Celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Madonna, and Eminem performed for fans and top NFT collections like BAYC and Cool Cats organized activities for holders. It was bound to be muddled.
However, for Vijay, it was a pleasant sight. It was encouraging to see enthusiastic attendees eager to learn more about our mission despite the massive market downturn. You wouldn’t think that this event occurred at a time when the crypto market crashed by more than 70%. Spirits were running high at the NFT.NYC Conference and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
Our CEO was one of the exclusive speakers who spoke at the conference and put forward our mission statement: to make the NFT ecosystem more secure. It was nothing short of an absolute opportunity to educate more people about illicit activities in the NFT ecosystem and the solutions we are building to tackle these issues and provide more security.
We built connections, expanded our network, and got a chance to attract more investors and partners to our project.
But the highlight for us was when our brand was advertised all across New York Times Square, the event venue. Read our detailed blog on our website!

Meanwhile, hints of a bear market weren’t completely absent from the event. Originally published at https://bitscrunch.com on July 5, 2022.
